Respiratory Diseases

In today’s field of medicine, the saga of respiratory medicine remains incomplete without bronchoscopy. It was even hard to imagine how a piece of peanut or almond if accidentally aspirated, could be removed from airways or lungs a decade to 15 years ago. Tara Child Care pioneered Pediatric Bronchoscopy in UP, and opened up a new arena of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in children in the field of respiratory medicine.

Bronchoscopy is done on day-care basis and is indicated for:

  • Accidental foreign body inhalation
  • Chronic Cough
  • Evaluation of noisy breathing
  • Non-resolving Pneumonia
  • Removal of impacted mucus or foreign body in airways
  • Diagnosis of lung cancer
